Gone

I still didn’t understand how it happened so fast

When you left and you couldn’t come back

I was never going to hear your voice or feel your hugs anymore

It will never feel the same with you being gone

I still wonder why it happened

 Your smiles forever missed

Seeing you walk on the sidewalk

As you passed by and looked over and waved goodbye each time

Now I just see your ghost in the same places

In one moment it is all gone and then realize it’s over

I don’t think they would understand

I just want you to know who I am
